7/3/2020 Fair Update

As everyone continues to adjust to the ever-changing situation we are presently living in, the 2020 Sarpy County Fair will be cancelled for this year and this includes, ALL ticketed events. Per Governor Rickett’s Directed Health Measure (DHM), there can not be a carnival, parade or beer garden. Due to the limitations and DHM guidelines for social distancing, there will NOT be any ticketed events held in the Motor Sports Complex or North Rodeo Arena. This includes the truck and tractor pulls, concert and demo derby. All other Sarpy County Fair events, INCLUDING the Extreme Bull Riding, and the Rodeo are cancelled.

The 4H exhibits for active 4H participants and immediate family will be the only events for this year.

The health and safety of our fair attendees, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and community remain at the forefront of our decision-making process. We appreciate your understanding and hope 2021 will allow us to return to the Fair that everyone enjoys and looks forward to year after year. We look forward to starting the plans for the 2021 Sarpy County Fair in the near future!

Have a safe holiday weekend!

6/30/2020 Fair Update

As everyone continues to adjust to the ever-changing situation we are presently living in, the 2020 Sarpy County Fair will experience significant adjustments for this year. Per Governor Rickett’s Directed Health Measure (DHM), there will not be a carnival, parade or beer garden. Due to the limitations and DHM guidelines for social distancing, there will NOT be any ticketed events held in the Motor Sports Complex. This includes the truck and tractor pulls, concert and demo derby. All other Sarpy County Fair events are also cancelled for this season, other than 4H, Extreme Bull Riding, and the Rodeo.

The Wednesday Evening Extreme Bull Riding, and Friday and Saturday Evening Rodeo, will go on as planned, and adhere to the DHM guidelines. Additional information will be posted in the near future on how the online ticketing process will be administered for these events.

The fairgrounds, will be fenced off, with access at a controlled point of entry Wednesday-Sunday 8a-5p for 4H participants and immediate family members only. Additional communication will be provided to 4H members in the near future.

The fairgrounds will close at 5p each day, and then reopen at a TBD time for the ticketed events being held on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evening. Every person entering the fairgrounds for the evening event, MUST have a ticket in hand (print or electronic), when entering at the controlled point of entry on the north entrance of the fairgrounds. Tickets WILL NOT be available for purchase at the fairgrounds ticket office. Additional information will be posted in the near future on how the online ticketing process will be administered for these events.

As everyone is aware, this is a very fluid situation and there have been DHM updates throughout this process. Please continue to visit sarpyfair.com or Sarpy County Fair & Rodeo Facebook page for updates as the Fair may need to adjust the plan at any given time.

The health and safety of our fair attendees, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and community remain at the forefront of our decision-making process. We appreciate your understanding and hope 2021 will allow us to return to the Fair that everyone enjoys and looks forward to year after year.
